In its tenth session, the Intersectoral Group met to advance the development of new solutions through the exchange of national and international experiences in the prevention and investigation of homicides of children and adolescents.
During the session, the importance of recognizing that many of the challenges we face at the national level also occur in other contexts was highlighted. Reviewing international initiatives aims to inspire proposals adapted to the Chilean reality, strengthening the capacity of the state and institutions to protect children.
Within this framework, and with the aim of deepening knowledge of international best practices, a series of webinars on child homicide will be held in October and November. International experts will share their experiences in various projects and methodologies to prevent and investigate the deaths of children and adolescents, creating a learning space that contributes to new local solutions.
