Fundación Amparo y Justicia trained more than 50 staff members from the Pascual Baburizza Agricultural Institute, in the municipality of Calle Larga, through the talk “Do You Know How to Act if You Learn of a Sexual Offense Against Children and Adolescents?”
The activity aimed to strengthen knowledge and practical tools for timely detection and proper action in situations of sexual violence affecting children and adolescents, reinforcing the key role that educational communities play in protecting their rights.
The training was carried out with the support of attorney Bernardo Silva, from the Specialized Unit for Sexual Offenses and Sexual Exploitation of the National Prosecutor’s Office, who provided a technical perspective from criminal prosecution and the legal obligations in force regarding these crimes.
This training session is part of the ongoing work of Fundación Amparo y Justicia, aimed at raising awareness, providing information, and offering clear guidance to responsible adults on how to act when they suspect or become aware of sexual offenses against children and adolescents.
Fundación Amparo y Justicia reminds the public that all forms of sexual violence against children and adolescents constitute a crime and must be reported.
