Pía Greene holds a PhD in Political Science, a Master’s degree in Political Action, Institutional Strengthening, and Citizen Participation in the Rule of Law, and is a journalist. She has more than 20 years of experience in the design, implementation, and evaluation of public policies, with a focus on public security, crime prevention, and organized crime, across the public sector, academia, and civil society.
Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership positions in the public sector, including Head of the Studies Division at the Ministry of the Interior and Public Security, and Director of Public Security for the Municipality of Vitacura. She has also developed an extensive academic and research career, serving as a professor and program coordinator at university level. Prior to assuming her current role, she worked as a coordinator and researcher at the Center for Public Security and Organized Crime Studies at Universidad San Sebastián.
