Recognized for her career as executive director of Fundación Foro Innovación and Fundación DEBRA, Moore has over 15 years of experience in management positions at non-profit organizations. “Joining this team is a great responsibility, considering that the Foundation is a national and international point of reference,” says the Executive Director.
Fundación Amparo y Justicia welcomes Loreto Moore as the new Executive Director.
Moore holds a degree in Business Administration from the School of Economics and Business at the Universidad de Chile (FEN) and has over 15 years of experience in management positions at non-profit organizations.
“I have worked almost my entire career at this type of organization, and I am always trying to improve people’s quality of life while focusing on them as people,” said the new Executive Director.
Moore served for over a decade as executive director of Fundación DEBRA, which supports children with the disease known as “butterfly skin,” for which she received the “Woman Leaders 2016″ award from the newspaper El Mercurio.
She recently worked as executive director of Fundación ForoInnovación, the parent network of Mentors for Chile and the Avonni National Innovation Award, focused on promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in Chile.
On joining Amparo y Justicia, the expert emphasized that “this entails taking on a great responsibility because Fundación Amparo y Justicia is very well established and it is a national and international point of reference. So, the bar is high for me, but that in itself is very challenging and motivating.”
Regarding the Foundation’s next challenges, the Executive Director said: “I hope to leave my mark on this organization, improving its processes and projects as much as possible, and to contribute with my vision to reach all existing cases in Chile and to be able to support those families facing extremely complex and painful situations such as the loss of their son or daughter.”
