{"id":20066,"date":"2025-04-11T15:20:57","date_gmt":"2025-04-11T19:20:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amparoyjusticia.cl\/5th-session-of-the-intersectoral-group-mapping-of-networks-and-institutional-linkages\/"},"modified":"2025-06-26T17:27:08","modified_gmt":"2025-06-26T21:27:08","slug":"5th-session-of-the-intersectoral-group-mapping-of-networks-and-institutional-linkages","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amparoyjusticia.cl\/en\/5th-session-of-the-intersectoral-group-mapping-of-networks-and-institutional-linkages\/","title":{"rendered":"5th session of the Intersectoral Group: Mapping of networks and institutional linkages"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The fifth session of the Intersectoral Group for the Prevention and Investigation of Homicides of Children and Adolescents was held with great success and attendance, at the offices of the National Prosecutor\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives from the Ministerio P\u00fablico, Polic\u00eda de Investigaciones de Chile, Carabineros de Chile, Servicio M\u00e9dico Legal, Subsecretar\u00eda de Prevenci\u00f3n del Delito, Servicio Nacional de Protecci\u00f3n Especializada a la Ni\u00f1ez y Adolescencia, Subsecretar\u00eda de la Ni\u00f1ez, Defensor\u00eda de la Ni\u00f1ez, Poder Judicial, Ministerio de Salud, Ministerio de Educaci\u00f3n, and Fundaci\u00f3n Amparo y Justicia met once again with the objective of advancing the mapping of networks and existing institutional linkages, identifying concrete opportunities to strengthen inter-institutional coordination.<\/p>\n<p>Ena von Baer, Executive Vice President of Fundaci\u00f3n Amparo y Justicia, stated that \u201cin the context of the increase in homicides of children and adolescents during 2024, the work being carried out by all the institutions involved in the prevention, detection, and investigation of these cases is tremendously important. A very solid diagnosis is being developed, and we hope that by the end of the year we will be able to present proposals to improve inter-institutional work regarding child and adolescent homicides.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This group of professionals meets monthly with the aim of advancing concrete actions to improve the clarification of child deaths. The first meeting was held in October 2024, as part of the seminar \u201cChallenges in the Investigation of Child and Adolescent Homicides,\u201d organized by our Foundation, which brought together more than 400 representatives from the State.
