The purpose of this document is to describe the process of granting parole to those convicted of rape with homicide of children and adolescents (CNA). Additionally, based on a review of international experience and available evidence, some areas for improvement are identified to ensure the proper granting of this and other benefits to those convicted of sexual offenses against CNA, taking into account progress in their rehabilitation and social reintegration process, as well as the needs for reparation and well-being of the victims and their families.
