The Guide on Child-Friendly Justice for Children and Adolescents (NNA) was adopted by the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe on November 17, 2010. Its purpose is to ensure effective access to justice for children and adolescents (NNA) and their right to receive appropriate treatment within the justice system, through guidelines applicable to all circumstances in which NNA are likely, for any reason and in any capacity, to come into contact with the judicial system, whether criminal, civil, or administrative.
