This article presents the results of the effectiveness evaluation of the first five versions of the interviewer training program, developed by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and Fundación Amparo y Justicia within the framework of Law 21.057. The performance of 53 participants (lawyers, psychologists, and social workers from the Public Prosecutor’s Office) was evaluated through simulated interviews conducted before and after the courses. The results show a substantial increase in the use of open-ended questions in post-training evaluations. Additionally, a significant reduction in less desirable interventions, such as closed and suggestive questions, was observed. This is considered an indicator of the effectiveness of this first training program experience in Chile.
