This report presents the results of the coverage of video recorded investigative interviews (EIV) conducted with children and adolescents who are victims of sexual crimes and other serious offenses, two years after the implementation of Law 21.057 in regions of the first stage of implementation, and four months after its entry into force in regions of the second stage. It also describes the time elapsed between the receipt of the complaint and the first interview. Finally, a longitudinal analysis of coverage indicators and response times at the national level is presented, covering the period from 2011 to 2021. The overall results showed EIV coverage and witness statements close to 50% of victims, with average times between the complaint and the testimony exceeding two months, which is substantially higher than international standards and empirical evidence.
