The Ibero-American Judicial Protocol for Improving Access to Justice for Individuals and Groups in Vulnerable Conditions, with a Special Emphasis on Gender-Responsive Justice, emerged from the XVII Ibero-American Judicial Summit in 2014. Its goal is to promote full access to justice for people in vulnerable conditions across the 23 countries in the region. It is divided into two volumes: the first addresses children and adolescents, indigenous peoples and communities, people with disabilities, and migrants, while the second volume focuses on women victims of violence.
